2009 Cub n Family General Information

 

When: October 17-18, 2009

 

Where: Lauderdale Air Park, Caldwell, Texas

 

Check-In: Check-in will begin on Saturday, October 17th at 10am.

 

Refunds: Sorry, there will be no refunds given for the registration fee.

 

Registration: Pre-registration is encouraged ($8). On-site registration will be $10. Each family should fill out a Cub-n-Family registration form and turn it into their pack, along with the appropriate fee. Make checks payable to Pack 1074.

 

Leadership: All Cubs and Webelos must be under adult supervision at all times. No more than three Cubs Scouts per one adult. Cubs and Webelos are only allowed to camp overnight with a parent or guardian. The welfare of the Cubs is the DIRECT RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ADULT IN CHARGE of their respective youth. Adults must attend activities with the Cubs. Again we stress that this is a family experience and not a Den Activity!

 

Cooking: Charcoal or propane grills/stoves are allowed.

 

Water: Water will be provided, however each pack must provide a water cooler at each activity site and keep it full. Each person should carry a canteen or cup for drinking purposes.

 

Games: Each pack should choose a game and must provide equipment related to the game. Pack 1074 will be running one of the games - each family will be given a volunteer time slot to run our game.

 

Camping: Families should camp with their pack. Bring your own equipment for family camping. Port-apotties will be provided. Bring your own toilet paper.

 

Parking: All vehicles must be parked in the designated parking area. Our goal is to provide a SAFE and FUN camping experience. Please assist us in this.

 

Emergency: There will be a First Aid facility. However, this is a family camping experience. Please pack your own first aid kit and be prepared to handle basic first aid.

 

Sanitation: The camp provides no trash or garbage service. Be prepared to haul out your own garbage. Please leave the area in better shape than when you arrived.

 

Fires: No on ground fires will be allowed at your campsite. Small propane stoves/grills/charcoal grills are allowed. Please see the Cooking section above.

 

 

Not Allowed: Liquid fuels, fireworks, firearms, BB Guns, alcoholic beverages, sheath knife, pets, and SMOKING will NOT be allowed.
