It’s Popcorn Sale Time!

 

 

 

Popcorn sales enable Pack 1074 to provide a quality program. It is the main source of funding for all cub awards as well as food at pack meetings, dinners on campouts, etc. STA generously donates meeting space and office support but funding for our cub program comes directly from the cubs themselves. Pack 1074 will receive a 30% commission on sales. This commission is split between the pack (20%) and the cub (10%) where it is applied to offset the cost of his December recharter fee (yearly dues). If you do not wish to sell, please consider making a monetary donation to the pack.

 

Popcorn order forms will be available at the den meeting on September 28. Orders are due Monday, November 2.

Popcorn will be ready for pick up on Saturday, November 21st.

 

The sales brochure outlines prizes for the cubs based on dollar amount sold. Other great prizes that can be earned include:

• Scouts selling at least one container will receive a participation patch.

• Scouts filling their order form with 30 different purchasers will receive a marshmallow bow & mallow and 1 free lower-level ticket to Houston Aeros Boy Scout Night - date TBA.

• Scouts selling $1,500 earn a bonus $50 gift card for Wal-Mart.

• Scouts selling $2,500 earn college scholarship funds (6% of sales) from Trails’ End.

 

Blue Bell Ice-Cream Recognition – 100% Unit Participation  

• Every unit that has 100% unit participation (every scout sells at least one item) receives free ice-cream to be picked up at council, date TBA.
